Maude Rolland

Dr. Maude Rolland is the CEO and co-founder of Vectopia, a Swiss biotech startup developing next-generation viral vector manufacturing platforms for gene therapy. Trained as a virologist, she completed her PhD on congenital cytomegalovirus infections and pursued postdoctoral research on hepatitis B before specializing in vectorology. With over ten years of academic experience, she bridges cutting-edge science with translational impact. At the University of Geneva, she contributed to gene therapy research in close collaboration with clinical partners. Driven by patient access, she founded Vectopia to make gene therapies more scalable and affordable.
